I am here to guide you back to yourself. I believe you are actually the one who “knows,” and my job is to help you rebuild the trust you have within yourself to access your own knowing. My approach is rooted in relationships as the foundation of healing, esp. the relationship we have with ourselves. Having learned to trust my own inner knowing, my intention is to assist you in re-discovering the authentic essence of who you are and to help you become more attuned, embodied, integrated and whole. I take a trauma informed, client-centered approach and draw from principals based on the interconnection of our beliefs, emotions, body, nervous system, brain, experiences and relationships. I include elements of inner child work, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), experiential learning, somatic approaches (i.e., somatic experiencing, dance, movement, etc.), mindfulness, attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and my work with horses to offer you innovative and enriching ways to connect with yourself.
I have the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, including, kids, adolescents, families and adults who have a diversity of backgrounds, ages, races, ethnicities and mental health conditions. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, self-esteem and family conflict, but my experience spans into multiple mental health concerns. My work is also rooted in a fundamental requirement: a commitment to yourself and the therapeutic process. Without this commitment, real healing is limited.
I also offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy services. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) offers the opportunity to partner with horses and an Equine Professional, allowing for transformative and healing experiences. I am proud to be one of the few therapists in this area trained to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way assist you in your journey! I have an amazing team of Equine Professionals and horses who assist me in this type of therapy.
Through nurturing a relationship with yourself and fostering connections with others, healing truly unfolds. I encourage all of us—individuals, families, children—to become more embodied in our authentic expression. If you are seeking individual, couples, or family therapy for ages 4 and up, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can determine if we’re a good fit for this journey. If you are interested in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (partnering with horses as part of your therapy), please let me know. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy can be done as an individual, couple or family.
